Session Description: ProtonMedia and Duke University share their joint development project - blending an always-on 3D virtual world with live telepresence technology. A special Duke build of ProtonMedia's virtual world platform ProtoSphere will connect to Duke's telepresence room. Creating a 3D model of a real space, and then blending it with a live video feed of that real space, offers learning professionals a new and unique way to facilitate on-line. Join us and take a look ahead at the classrooms and meeting rooms of the not-too-distant future.
