Day and Timeslot: Monday - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Session Description: Faith is a huge part of the lives of many of our workers; yet, it is rarely talked about in our organizations. How does faith impact how people learn and even collaborate? What is appropriate (or inappropriate) about using religious metaphors in our learning content? How do we cope with a wide range of faith-based practices and beliefs in our organizations? What role does faith play in your career and approach to learning? Join this unusual dialogue led by several of your colleagues as we explore this crucial topic!

October 22:

There are 4 of us who will co-lead this panel discussion.  We got together last night and each of us had a different experience when we approached our company for participation in this session. We would love to hear your thoughts, beliefs and inspirations, come and share.

 Opening exercise during the session:

What does Faith mean to you?  Our participants answered, that was followed by a lovely/lively discussion.

Nitaya Luu:I regret I missed this session. I joined Schlumberger believing God has led me here. I always wanted to have a Bible Study at my work place. One day during our Ping-Pong tournament, one of the ping-pong players who also works in the same building asked me. What does Jesus mean to me, well I answered He is God. Later, he invited me to join his Bible study and I did. Our group consists of 7 to 9 people and meet every Thursday during the lunch time at work. I just wish that there is more women joining our group. The majority are men in this group study.
