Session 229.ppt

Session Description: We had a challenge to train over 100,000 new instructors each year and provide a consistent message. Previously, instructor training had been incorporated into content-specific training and was only as good as the instructor trainer who facilitated it. The solution for AHA was a 6-hour e-Learning course that was required of new instructors before they could be certified to teach any healthcare courses.

  • A replicable example for training large numbers of instructors
  • Results of user acceptance and findings on improved instructor skills
  • Applicability of the model of the AHA instructor training course to your workplace situation

Jodi Schwendeman:Hi Bill! It was great to hear that not only does AHA support multi-generational audiences, but audiences spread around the globe. I love the thought of providing workbooks to the course participants to use, this can also be used as an on-the-job reference tool. The WBT/CD combination sounds like a winner as well. Thank you!
