Session Title: Construction & Learning Industry User Group

Session #: 115

Location: Fiesta 1

Session Format: Industry Session

Engage in an interactive benchmarking dialogue with other colleagues from the Construction field in this special MyIndustry Learning User Group. We will compare notes about how "Learning is Changing", including:

  • The construction industry slow down (the housing market in particular) has provided an opportunity for those in learning to be more creative in providing services to our clients (i.e. budget and resource cuts). With less money and resources available, how can we be more creative in meeting our ever increasing need for not only development, but critical, job related training?
  • Recruiting and keeping employees: how can we provide the right environment, including development opportunities, to both keep current employees and bring in future leaders?
  • Compliance-based learning: methods for ensuring all employees (and contractors) on job sites are meeting the compliance requirements
