Engage in an interactive benchmarking dialogue with other colleagues from the Technology/High-Tech field in this special MyIndustry Learning User Group. We will compare notes about how "Learning is Changing", including:

 

  • The latest and greatest: is there an expectation that high-tech companies will always have the best, fastest, newest technologies and tools?
  • The variety of audience types: how do you address the unique learning needs of manufacturing, engineers, OEMs and end customers?
  • Growing Leaders: how do you create/support the new generation of high-tech leaders?

Bruce Thompson, Novell

 

Bruce Thompson leads Novell's Knowledge and Learning team, which is responsible for global learning programs in all areas of employee development. Key focus areas are Novell product technical and sales training, sales skills and leadership development. Before assuming this role, Bruce spent 13 years in various Information Technology roles, including sales, consulting, support and program management. Bruce lives with his wife and son just outside of Saint Louis in Wentzville, Missouri.

Allison Anderson, Intel Corporation

 

Allison Anderson is a Learning Design Strategist and leader of the Learning Community of Practice within Intel Corporation. Her current work focuses on the application of new technologies and learning models for soft skills/HR learning and development. She is a charter member of the Learning CONSORTIUM and a veteran of Elliott Masie events and the Learning Conference, where she has facilitated sessions on a variety of topics related to learning in the corporate world. Allison has served Intel for 10 years and practiced in the Learning and Development field for 15 years.
